1. Scope and parties
1.1 Individual clients (B2C)
These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Maria Boettner (“Provider”) to individual clients (“Client”) for personal development. By booking, the Client accepts these Terms in full.
1.2 Corporate and organisational clients (B2B)
For companies, training centres or organisations purchasing services for employees, teams or groups, specific terms are agreed in writing via a separate engagement letter or proposal. In the absence of a specific agreement, these Terms apply. B2B contracts are formed when a Provider’s written proposal is accepted in writing or by email.
2. Values and ethical principles
Maria Boettner commits to all clients:
- Respect for the personal dignity and autonomy of every Client
- Non-discrimination regardless of origin, religion, gender, age, disability or worldview
- Transparency about the nature, possibilities and limitations of services offered
- No exploitation of emotional vulnerability for commercial purposes
- Compliance with the ICF Code of Ethics at all times
- Respectful conduct – including when ending a working relationship
These principles reflect the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights (Art. 1 & 2), the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, WHO/OHCHR Dignity in Care principles, and the ICF Code of Ethics.
3. Description of services
3.1 Life Coaching (Be You Coaching)
Solution-focused accompaniment for personal and professional development. ICF PCC and EMCC Senior Practitioner certified (25+ years experience). Not a replacement for psychotherapy, psychology or medical treatment.
3.2 Trance Healing
Complementary treatment forms, often successfully used alongside conventional medical treatments, include chronic illness and chemotherapy accompaniment. Trance Healing does not replace a visit to a doctor or conventional medical treatment—sessions are one session.
3.3 Mediumship & Channelling
Spiritual accompaniment sessions with no claim to factual accuracy or completeness. The information conveyed is intended solely as spiritual guidance and does not replace professional psychological, medical, or legal advice. The Client remains fully responsible for their own decisions and actions.
3.4 Meditation & Mindfulness
Individual sessions, the Du Hast Pause App (iOS/Android) and YouTube meditations. Not a replacement for medical or therapeutic treatment.
Mental health notice: The services offered by Maria Boettner are not psychotherapy, medical treatment, or crisis intervention. If you are currently experiencing psychological distress, suicidal thoughts, trauma responses, or other mental health concerns, please consult your doctor or a mental health professional before booking. In acute crises or emergencies, contact your local emergency services immediately.
4. Rights of the Client
- Full information about the booked service before it begins
- Respectful, dignified treatment in every session
- Confidentiality of all session content
- End the working relationship at any time without giving reasons
- Request human review of any AI-generated output that materially affects your experience
- Opt out of AI-enhanced features where a human-delivered alternative exists
- Submit ICF complaints: www.coachingfederation.org/ethics
- Submit data protection complaints: FDPIC www.edoeb.admin.ch
- Withdraw consent to data processing at any time by email
- Request anonymous testimonials or decline testimonial use entirely
5. Obligations of the Client
- Attend sessions punctually and be prepared
- Treat the Provider with respect at all times
- Do not record or publish sessions without explicit written permission
- Maintain confidentiality of session content
- Cancel at least 48 hours in advance
- Provide truthful information about relevant health conditions
- Do not use AI-generated outputs from the Provider’s tools to train third-party AI models
6. Rights of the Provider
- Decline or end a booking without giving reasons – to protect her integrity and safety
- End a session immediately in cases of disrespectful, manipulative or destabilising behaviour — without obligation to refund
- Adjust prices and availability with reasonable advance notice
- Reschedule sessions at no cost in cases of illness, family emergency or force majeure
- Use voluntarily given testimonials for marketing purposes (with consent)
- Refer Clients showing signs of emotional dependency to professional support
7. Booking and contract formation
Bookings via Calendly (calendly.com/mariaboettner) or by email to mail@maria-boettner.de. Contract formed upon written confirmation. Booking constitutes acceptance of these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
8. Pricing and payment
Individual sessions (60 minutes unless otherwise agreed):
- Germany / EU / Austria / Luxembourg / Portugal / UK / US: from EUR 150 per session
- Switzerland: from CHF 180 per session
- Packages: on individual request – written agreement required
Group programmes and corporate engagements (B2B):
Pricing is defined in the specific proposal and engagement letter. Unless otherwise agreed, invoices are due within 14 days from the invoice date.
Not subject to VAT. All prices are final prices.
In cases of non-payment, the Provider may decline further bookings, pursue outstanding amounts legally, and charge CHF/EUR 20 per reminder.

9. Right of withdrawal – EU consumers
14-day right of withdrawal under EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU. This right expires upon full completion of the session with the Client’s prior explicit consent. For digital products made immediately accessible after purchase, no general right of withdrawal applies once access has been granted.

10. Cancellation and rescheduling
Individual sessions:
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before. Less than 48 hours: full session price retained. No-show: full price charged. Rescheduling is free up to 48 hours before. Exceptions are possible with illness documentation.
Programmes and group offerings:
7 or more days before start: 50% refund of fees paid. Less than 7 days before the start or after the programme has begun: no refund. If the Provider cancels a programme, a full refund or rescheduling will be offered.
11. Session recordings
No recordings without explicit written permission. Unauthorised recording is a breach of contract. Agreed recordings may not be published, shared or used commercially.

12. Force majeure
Free rescheduling in cases of: personal illness, family emergency, technical failures outside the Provider’s control, natural disasters, pandemics, official orders, or travel without reliable connectivity. Refund only if there is no replacement appointment within 30 days.
13. Right to end the working relationship
Provider may end immediately without refund obligation if:
- Disrespectful, manipulative or threatening behaviour by the Client
- Repeated breaches of these Terms
- False information about health conditions
- Continuation endangers the Provider’s mental or physical well-being
Client may end at any time, with booked sessions charged per the cancellation policy (Section 10).
14. Confidentiality – mutual
Client:
- No disclosure of session content to third parties without permission
- No public sharing of session content
- No false or misleading public statements about the Provider
Provider:
- No disclosure of client content to third parties
- Exception: legal obligation or acute risk of harm to self or others

15. Protection against reputational damage
The Client agrees not to make false or damaging statements about Maria Boettner, her services or her work – publicly or privately to third parties. The Provider reserves the right to take legal action in cases of demonstrable harm through false statements.
16. Testimonials
Testimonials voluntarily provided may be used for marketing purposes. Withdrawal is possible at any time in writing. Anonymous or initialised testimonials available on request.

17. Minors
Services for persons under 18 require written parental or guardian consent. The guardian is responsible for booking and payment.

18. Emotional dependency
Services are designed for time-limited, professional accompaniment. They do not create a lasting personal dependency or friendship. If signs of emotional dependency develop, the Provider may refer the Client to professional psychological support and adjust or end the working relationship. The Provider is not liable for the Client’s emotional state outside of sessions.
19. AI-powered tools – rights and limitations
General:
AI tools (e.g., Soul Path Diagnostic) serve only as spiritual orientation guides. ‘Minimal risk’ under EU AI Act. Not medical, psychological or legal advice. No decisions about individuals. Voluntary use.
Your rights regarding AI:
- Be informed about which tools are AI-supported
- Request human review of any AI-generated output that materially affects your experience
- Opt out of AI-enhanced features where a human-delivered alternative exists
- Raise a complaint regarding AI use at mail@maria-boettner.de
Prohibited uses of AI outputs:
- AI-generated outputs from the Provider’s tools may not be used to train third-party AI models
- AI outputs may not be reproduced, distributed or published without written permission
Future AI features:
If AI voice or avatar features are introduced, this will be clearly disclosed in advance. Such features are always supplementary and do not constitute live sessions with Maria Boettner.
EU AI Act Art. 50 Transparency obligations
20. Intellectual property
All materials – meditation recordings, videos, coaching tools, AI tools, written materials, programmes — are protected by copyright. Reproduction or commercial use without written permission is not permitted. You may not use materials to build competing services or training products.

Access to a complaints procedure reflects the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (Principle 31) and the ICF Code of Ethics – ensuring fair, transparent mechanisms for all parties.
22. Governing law and jurisdiction
Swiss law (OR/ZGB) applies, excluding conflict-of-laws rules and the CISG. Jurisdiction: Provider’s registered location in Switzerland. In addition, EU/EEA consumers are subject to mandatory national consumer protection law. For international clients (UK, US, Portugal, Austria, Luxembourg): Swiss law applies unless mandatory national protections prevail.
23. Amendments
These Terms may be updated at any time. The current version on mariaboettner.com applies. For ongoing programmes, material changes will be communicated by email. Continued participation constitutes acceptance.
24. Severability
If any provision is found invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is unaffected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by one that most closely reflects the original intent.
